What We Value

In 1993, Tara and I became staff ministers at New Harvest Church in Clewiston, FL, under the leadership of Bishops Tony and Kathy Miller. We remained there for almost ten years before we were sent out to plant a church. While there, we came to value, "The Seven Musts" of New Harvest Church which came forth from a prophetic message given by Pastor Tom Peters at the dedication service of New Harvest Church in 1990. Those "Seven Musts," which could also be called "core values" have remained pillars in the lives of Tara and I. We want to share those values here so those who may inquire would have a great picture of where we have come from, where we have been and where we desire to go as we walk into our next opportunity...

The Seven Musts

1. We MUST understand and submit to
SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY.

2. This MUST be a place where the DOORS
are open to ALL PEOPLE.

3. This MUST be a place of PRAISE AND
WORSHIP.

4. This MUST be a place of PRAYER, or it
will not be a place of POWER.

5. This MUST be a place where the WORD
is preached with AUTHORITY.

6. This MUST be a place of EVANGELISM.

7. This MUST be a Church that has a HEART
for the WORLD.
